Re: *sadface*

I will check on this later this evening. Luckily the second GC is here, so I can simply swap the known good RAM onto the SGC and see if it makes a difference. I just know this is Doug LaVerne's spare SGC which he loaned me so it gets some use. That is what freed up the second GC for sale. It makes m...

Hi all, I was going to list a second Gold Card, because I have a loaner SGC. I know the SGC came from a system that had some problems, but, alas, the problems were worse than I imagined, so I am going to hold off selling the second Gold Card until either the SGC or the Thor XVI is working. When I pl...

I would be happy to manufacture those, if given the opportunity.

Re: Projects in motion.

My take on this is that floppy support is required, but that everyone already has an interface that supports floppies. The card I'm looking at would be kept deliberately simple - a 68EC020, a chunk of RAM and the needed glue logic. I have been looking at the pPropQL020 design too - which replaces th...

Re: Projects in motion.

May some others too ... Keep us informed, thank you. ;) Yes, funding has always been the main obstacle. M...

Re: Projects in motion.

When I was making my list of projects, one that came up was a new batch of QubIDEs, but with a re-designed PCB that had a CF slot. I thought about making a CF carrier that would fit in the mdv slots. However, it would work out kind of expensive (around £80) so I didn't think I could sell enough to b...
