Re: MG ROM Bug
The MG ROMs (I have a german one with the same problem) have a nasty problem with the SD.POINT routine that draws single pixels: They always draw 2 pixels instead of one, the 'shadow' pixel being of different colour and slightly offset from the real one. The same problem exposes in the SuperBASIC P...

Extra issue of Quanta mag?
Thanks to Sarah Gilpin, Quanta magazine is edited and either already at or about to go to the printer. We are in the fortunate situation of having plenty of copy (probably thanks to me largely monopolising this issue with huge news and helpline columns) so she is looking at doing an extra issue next...

Re: Sharing Data between QLs
The software side may probably be tackled using SERNET (I think this requires SMSQ/e) or FLEXYNET from the DIY Toolkit. However, can all emulators etc run the software and talk? Any thoughts are appreciated. In theory, Sernet could be used on a QDOS system as long as it had the split input/output s...

Re: Trump card
Might be worth asking Ron Dunnett (Qubbesoft) about the Trump Card diagram. He sold Trump Cards for a while after Miracle stopped doing them. Haven't got an up to date contact details for him though, sorry.

Re: Quanta - the Sinclair QL User Group
John Gilpin is coordinating this. I don't think the problem is scanning them as such, but more one of proof reading the scanned files, as the original print quality of those early editions wasn't very good by modern standards. I think John is still away (xmas hols)as I write this, but when he return...

Re: Quanta - the Sinclair QL User Group
Quanta can supply some back issues of their magazine - contact Basil Lee whose contact details are inside the front cover of the Quanta Magazine.
John Gilpin is also in the process of scanning some older issues, with a veiw to making them available as a PDF archive at some point.
