Re: New (to me) Q40!

Hi, The Q40 ROM image has to be configured before HI/LO ROM images are made. As suggested, boot up the Q40 and LRESPR the new SMSQE rom image file. This allows the the new settings to tested before burning the roms. Personally, I leave SMSQ/E 310 in rom and soft load the new version of SMSQ/E, QDOS...

Re: Running Cport from Win1_

I had the A-Z vaccine. No symptoms at all. Mind you, I did sleep for two solid hours on Saturday afternoon - possibly related? But most likely because I was awake at 1 Am the night before! Alison has also had the A-Z one, and she's had no symptoms either. Looking forward to my second. Cheers, Norm....

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Hi, Ver. 0.22 works basically all time very well, some (2/3) unpredictable lockup happen in totally different condition, never under same conditions, cannot find any logical link. I only noticed that the command "reset" , that i used regularly to reset q68, after the use of the net doesn't...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

Hi, just in case someone is interested, to connect the Q68 ethernet port to my Lan I used an Ethernet WIFI Bridge: "Vonets VAP11G de 300 mini Wireless WiFi 300 Mbps", easy to find in Amazon. I don't have an ethernet switch close to my desk so I used it and works well. The Q68 QoE ethernet ...

Re: Q68 QoE Ethernet Driver

For most of the year I have been working on an Ethernet driver for the Q68. Its not finished, but I thought that I would release one of the development versions for people to try, and to get some user feedback on any problems seen. .................... Hi Martin, this is great enhancement. If I und...

Re: Mister QL

Hm, no idea on point 1. The IP is the one of the running Linux. MiSTer can make this available to a core as a virtual COM Port that runs a PPP connection, so a PPP client is needed on the QL side for this to work. Marcel Well, I think this is the same as a normal QL using the WIFI retro modem (Simu...

Noted, but no time to check right now. - I have the RTC module mounted, but I suppose QL core doesn't use it, right? Is thi...

Re: Target for major new QL hardware

When things calmed down again the discussions about new motherboard/new system started - so I just postponed to see what other options will be out there. Don't let this discussion hold you back. The Q68 has become sort of a standard by now, the most widely used platform since the SuperGoldCard. It ...

Re: Knoware.no

Hi François, I have accumulated rather a lot of nearly-finished projects which may never see the light of day, as there doesnt seem to be any interest in QL software that looks like it was produced this century. In fact Im considering to discontinue Knoware next time the renewal comes up as it now ...
