Re: Still possible to get Minerva ROM

Not sure if that board was tested working but the GAL is the wrong way round unless my eyes deceive me… I removed the GAL and read it i on my Programmer, it look to have not been powered on with the GAL in the wrong orientation. That looks like a stunt Minerva without the legs bent out to fit the P...

Re: P.I.Cole 2

Sounds easy, just set one setting and issue one command

But that relies on reading the manual.... there is also a down side....

Re: Hermes status

Hi, I read in the binary image of a Phillips MAB8049H using the Hilo Systems ALL03A programmer using the 8749H settings. The binary saved to a file called: MAB8049H.ROM MAB8049H.zip I noted that the 8049 and 8749 file are 2048 bytes in size, as is the Hermes code file. This means my programmer is on...

Re: Still possible to get Minerva ROM

HI Stu, The GAL does look like it is the wrong way around, I can not remember removing it, but I think this Minerva MKII was something I was given, maybe the GAL fitted incorrectly makes the Minerva MKII not functional and the the whole thing is faulty. I will remove the GAL and see if it is working...

Re: Hermes status

Hi,

I do not think there is a 8049 binary file, my ALL03A programmer does not have a 8049 entry in the software, but the NEC D8749H entry reads the 8049 IPC. On saying that the NEC D8749HC reports IPCVER$ as 0.0 which is a non-Hermes IPC.

Re: SMSQmulator for Android?

Re: SMSQmulator for Android?

Hi,

QPC 1 can be run uder Dosbox.

There seems to be no Java runtime available for Android, only the rubbish in the Gopgle Play Store.

I did not know that SDL2 was available for Android. How does sQLux get compiled on Android?

Re: Hermes status

That's intriguing, it's dated 1987 so may have been programmed by user (8749HC windowless One Time Program chip). But why not just use 8049 that came with QL?, perhaps modified for some reason (my Schon IPC variation was 8049). Be interesting if you can get binary dump and see if it differs from kn...
