I like the idea of the Mist being development platform for hardware ideas as this makes perfectly sense. How are our hardware gurus think about that and who could shoulder the task to do some extensions to the existing model? There is many talented people here, why do they all hide right now? :shock...

I agree @tofro that helping helps but unfortunately I'm not able to. I'm more a user than a programmer and had never i my life to do with FPGA programming. I was impressed how quickly e.g. the SD drivers were inserted and working, really great, and in my humble opinion just thought it would be great...

For the time being I can confirm that, for who is looking for an hardware replacement, the Mist is really a step forward and works very well, pity we cannot convince Till (Mist master :D ) to enhance it to use more speed and more memory.
Maybe money helps?
