Re: QLUB Adapter - Initial Release...

Derek,

I'd be interested if an assembed one is going spare.

If so, please let me know the cost.

Thanks!

Thanks for confirmation. I didn't think it would be possible but you never know unless you ask :D

S*BASIC: pause window refresh until all drawing complete?

In S*BASIC, is it possible for a window (not the entire screen) to refresh only after all drawing operations to it have been completed? I am building up a pseudo-3D scene of various items drawn from furthest away (scaled small) to nearest (scaled large) - ideally I'd like the window that is being dr...

Re: DoxDirect

My assembly book is also available via Tinyfpga on this forum. For around a tenner I believe.
Is that A4 colour? If so that is a great price and a way better deal than I got. Drat! :D

Re: DoxDirect

Norman's book cost £42.76 to print in colour in A4. I think it is worth it for the diagrams to be so clear. B&W would have dropped this right down to low £20s I think, and printing to A5 has a large effect too (I can't recall the exact reduction). However, I've paid more money for other technica...

DoxDirect

I thought I'd leave feedback on a non-QL related company: DoxDirect. https://www.doxdirect.com I have been using them to print old technical manuals, such as the CP/M ones (went with A5), the Colour Maximite 2 manuals (A5) and also more recently for Norman's Assembler course (A4, colour) and just ye...

Re: SQLite

I think it would be a very big piece of work to convert SQL's declarative style into dbas' imperative one. Especially when dealing with joins, grouping and sub queries. Not impossible, and there are examples of this on other platforms, but certainly a non trivial exercise to cover all the bases (pun...
