I think you can find a copy to download at http://sinclairql.speccy.org under the utilities tab. PSION Chess for the QL may still be copyright but if you already own a copy..

Re: OUTLN
Hi, I have used OUTLN and WREST keywords. 10 OPEN#1,"con_":OUTLN#1,xsize,ysize,xpos,ypos: CLS#1 20 REMark To restore the previous screen contents. This is simple. The QPTR keyword WREST does the job. 30 WREST#1 : REMARK restores the content overwritten by OUTLN. Both keywords originally ap...

Re: Raspberry Pi emulator state of play...
Hi Dave, I would say smsqmulator, the java based emulator maintained by Wolfgang Lenerz. Its more capable than uQLx, which I have also tried, as it runs smsq/e. uQLx, gives a more basic QDOS QL emulation. It does run faster than smsqmulator and I expect it is more stable in the recent release. For s...

None of the above unless a 2.5 inch CF card adapter counts. Please comment or post photos if your answer doesn't fit neatly into the above, or if you just want to share.

Re: QubIDE 3.10

This adapter dose work http://qlheaven.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/compact-flash-card-ide-adapter-and.html Dilwyn has also posted on his blog that he uses the same adapte...

Re: 68060 based QL system?
Hi, Any native 68K hardware including 68060 has become slower than emulation on PCs. I wonder how people see 68060 systems today. I love my Q60 and like Derek I would like the Q60 to be able to display on flat screen monitors or HDMI TVs. The benefits of speed are relative as you say Peter. The Q60 ...

Re: $$external problem
Hi EmmBee Its not an smsq/e problem its a QLib runtimes problem. This morning I checked the FRA() compiled external on QPC2 4.04 smsq/e 3.32. It worked for me there also. [/quote]I am using smsq/e 3.31 with QPC2, but have never got this to work. I am perhaps hoping that Wolfgang can modify his patch...

Re: $$external problem
I don't think this works, actually. Neglecting to get rid of the SBASIC code is the culprit. In this case, SBASIC would take precedence over any loaded extension and produce a misleading correct result. Any loaded QLIB extensions never get the chance to be tested. Let's hope that Wolfgang can come ...
