Re: "8749 replaces 8049" Curiosity
Ah, shows you learn something new every day. The 8749HC is user programmable, but only once, for low volume prototype runs. I have the 8749HD with the quartz window, which are programmable multiple times. Hmm, creating Hermes chips is relatively easy if you have the programmer, did one just yesterd...

Re: "8749 replaces 8049" Curiosity
Hi,
The added components on the chip are to implement the CAPSLOCK_LED circuit, which works with 8049 and 8749.
So from the IPCVER$ function,the IPC is a 8049.

Re: My Q68 configuration
Hi, Thank you for the STL files, I got a quotation from Treatstock, which is a 3D Printing Company that outsources 3D Printing work to third party printers, which was quoted as $33.75 (they use US Dollars for payment) I could get a proto-type print done. The list of parts indicates the power supply ...

Re: My Q68 configuration
Hi, If the STLs are not available, I could have a go at producing a similar design. I have done a little basic design work on a simp.e cu ic Q68 case, not with any QL Styling. I will see if I can enhance it bit. You fancy sharing what you have ? Nothing really, only a copy of the current Q68 case. ...

Re: OqtaDrive
Hi Tom
Thanks for the clarification, I was going add an Oqtadrive in next to my QL-SD, if I can map MDV 1-8 on the Oqtadrive, that would be great.

Re: Q68 Order Process
Hi Here is an update to the next batch of the Q68. I have submitted and paid for the the next batch of Q68 boards to be manufactured and have the SMD conponents machine soldered. Unfortuneatley, there is a 25 week lead time on component deliveries, this means the completed Q68 PCBs will be delivered...

Re: sQLux Sound and Joystick support
Hi, The Joystick CTL functions, as in a QL are hardwired to the defined CTL Port. But an emulator could have user defined joystick functionality, is this possible? The joystick is effectively emulating 5 keys, so it is possible in theory, but it would require changes to the format of the ini file t...
