And how difficult would it be to,port qdos or smsq to ARM, e.g. RaspberryPI?

RiscOs is now to be ported to the RasPi. No chance to port SMSQ on it too???

How much will be (more or less) the SuperHermes?

The reason may is the resolution, dpi, dots per inch. Screen resolution normally is 72dpi.
You may check the resolution and set it to 72 dpi. Hope this helps ...

I think to resize it makes a lot of sense. I tried to load your picture into Q-emulator on my Mac but only got random flashing pixels.
