Re: Bug in EXTRAS in SMSQ/E?
Yes, toFro's interpretation is correct. EXTRAS will first of all list definitions within the local SBASIC name table, and then looks to the main one - this has the effect that only used extensions are visible UNLESS you link a new toolkit into an SBASIC daughter job (ie. they get patched into the lo...

Re: Bug in EXTRAS in SMSQ/E?
This the default behaviour - I quote the SBASIC / SuperBASIC Reference Manual on this: Within an SBASIC ( on SMS ) , EXTRAS only lists those keywords used in that SBASIC to date - this is because the whole name table is not copied when an SBASIC is started up, allowing different SBASICs to use the s...

Re: Some useful commands and info.
The original MicroP ROM did not boot from FLP1_ unless you changed one of the jumpers (as per manual lol). It could well be the drive is just too fast for the MicroP disk interface (yes I have come across that issue also!). The other thing to try might be to use the WD1770 controller chip out of the...

Re: Some useful commands and info.
OK - this could be the WD1770 controller chips. However, first of all need to check out the basics... a) Are you using DD disk drives and DD disks? If not, have you taped over the HD detection hole in the floppy disks? b) Are the disk drives PC standard drives, or QL specific floppy disk drives? c) ...

Some of the software needs me to make working copies..
But really I just need plenty of time to list everything!

Re: Some useful commands and info.
OK - so what is the issue with the disk controllers (no memory involved on these). You could really do with upgrading to QJUMP ROMs for these as well - to avoid using DIR fdk1_ instead of DIR flp1_ It is most probably the WD1770 controllers, although the DIP switches on the one interface look wrong ...

Re: Some useful commands and info.
I have got two Miracle Floppy disk Interfaces both different from each both don't work unfortunately Can you send a picture as they only made the Trump Card, Gold Card and Super Gold Card? Thinking about it you may have a Trump Card and a Trump Card 2. There was also a tray interface at some stage,...
