Re: QoogLe Search Engine - silly Friday.... but maybe not!
There is the Google Custom Search Engine on my site - it's meant to present QL-related search results. When I first implemented it, there were more QL-related websites and it worked better then than it does now that there are fewer QL-related websites around. Probably worth a revisit to see if it ca...

Re: Poll: Do you use a Mouse on your QL ?
I have a mouse of some type on all my systems, and unless I am specifically using or testing a non-mouse driven program I always connect and use the mouse as most of the programs I use day-to-day are all pointer driven. I hate trying to use the cursor keys to control pointer driven software. My syst...

Re: New Minerva ROMs for Q68
Is there a specific reason why QDOS was implemented on Q68? For example, to give a choice, or to run/test software on it, or to just see if it could be done?
Good to have a choice, of course.

Still get the fast cursor for a while after QPC2 wakes from sleep, but at least the freeze problem has gone now.

Re: QPC2 freeze on Win 10 laptop going to sleep
I regularly get this issue with my HP laptop and have asked about it here in the past. It's not consistent - sometimes I leave the laptop to go to sleep and it happens, sometimes it happens after closing the lid to put the laptop to sleep. Sometimes QPC2 survives come what may. I'm used to it, and m...

Thanks Liam.lcww1 wrote:Dilwyn - I’d be delighted to put something together for the Thor section of your site, which is such a fantastic resource and one which has already been of great help to me.

Re: CST Thor 1 EPROM problem
Could I also ask that the serial number/watermark issues be written up once fully resolved for the Thor information part of my website, please?
Would be good to have the information preserved for the future in case this issue raises its head again for someone else.

Re: Why the QL ?
I remember thinking how genuinely awful documentation for beginners was at the time. Is it better now ?? I spent 6 hours trying to write a simple "Hello world" app (and understand what was doing) using PE and failed miserably. For comparison, I was able to write a simple windows 3.1 app i...

Chromebook
Just been asked something I've never really thought about...anyone know if any of the QL emulators can be run on a Chromebook? Probably not since they mainly run online apps I suppose.
e.g. if Java is available for them and SMSQmulator could be run?
