Discussion about connecting RASPI to QL
This is a thread derived from "QL prototyping board..." There's are a couple of ways to do it. It depends if you just want to pass a. Yet back and forth or if you want to address a block of memory. It would need some hefty GPIO on the pi's side. I'll email you in a bit and we can talk more...

Re: ******* Linux

I know it's hard to do anything without screen but I don't remember having my linux machine totally locked out. I admit I know little about linux and after ...

Re: ATX backplane prototype...
I am also interested in these. I guess this backplane is unbuffered. Wouldn't it be better to have a buffered version? Also I think some extra holes for cardholders would be good. I use these for example. https://www.reichelt.de/Distanzhuelsen-etc-/KARTENHALTER/3/index.html?ACTION=3&LA=517&A...

You could also do the same as sinclair,
Disable the cpu when not used Kind regards Paul

Re: New QL backplane.
I am also interested in the pcb (two or three) only because I have plenty of both connectors and which should also keep postage low.

Re: Fun things to do with an MC68EC020....
That's a really hard decision. I prefer using larger CPLD with lots of io pins even when not neccessary. It's really hard if you implemented 90% of the logic just to find out you are going to miss some macrocells or io pins. Once everything is running I still can decide to use smaller devices. Using...

Spectrum Color hardcopy has been tested?
That's better than expected!
Meanwhile I remembered that I still have an Atari ST, has Signum been tested?
Else I could do this (or different ST Programs).
