Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
Any thoughts on the boot issue? Would I be best making the hxc flp1_? Currently I have two ed floppies flp1_ and flp2_ and the hxc is flp3_ and flp4_. I think I would leave the boot to a "real" floppy. (I haven't got a lot of good reasons why, this is just what I've done with my SGC QL). ...

Re: QL on MIST FPGA board
... forgot to ask if it would be possible to place the MiST Board into the original QL case? A single-glance, rough check says: Should fit. But: The microdrives are mapped to the SD-Card slot, keyboard and mouse are USB, all the connectors would be in the wrong places and need re-wiring. (And the Q...

Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
I tend to move them around interactively with the mouse using the WMOV command. (That's part of EasyPtr, if I remember right)dilwyn wrote: That said, you can move them around with WMON and WTV commands in SMSQ/E:

Re: My Pandora Aurora Super QL Project
Peter,
I don't (unfortunately) have an Aurora, so don't know from own experience, but
with one of the later PEs you should be able to use GD2.

Re: QL on MIST FPGA board
I guess the obvious question now is can it be upgraded to 68020 and support the extended screen modes from Q40/Q60 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q40_(motherboard) so that it can run smsq/e as well as classic QDOS? I can't remember what network card was demoed at QLis30 but an emulation of one of th...

Re: QL on MIST FPGA board
Hi, I have not used this type of system before, can different Cores be easily loaded? Definitely. <F12> from the keyboard or a button press on the MiST front panel enter a menu system that allows selection of the cores on the SD card. A few seconds later you have an Amstrad CPC or Atari in front of...

Re: qlayw and Turbo Basic
....shall have to remember that trick. No, you shouldn't ;) You should instead remember that you should never un-zip a zip file intended for the QL anywhere else but on the QL - or emulator. In this case you will never again lose a file header in transit. Explanation on that is on Dillwyn's web sit...

I don't think anyone has done that, Derek.

Re: QPC2: Mouse move as cursor emulation
Ralf, why don't you write it yourself? You need: - EasyPtr - Turbo - Turbo Toolkit Write a small program that does a RDPT in a tight loop (on #0, for example, with a termination vector of 8 for "Mouse moved"). In that loop, check whether the mouse moved left more than a certain threshold, ...
