Re: How do you make a QL emulator?

First you start with a brain the size of a planet! Then you write or subvert an emulator for the processor and all its instruction set. Then, somehow you emulate the hardware and when you load in your, perhaps modified, OS, it "just" works. There's one here with source - just the mc68000 t...

Re: Productivity in the QL

Norman Dunbar's notes on EasyPtr are based on version 3. Marcel has made version 4 available a wee while back on his web site kilgus.net.

Norm.

Re: Free Circuit Analysis Software

Interesting software! It works perfectly under Wine, both the 32 and 64 bit versions, on Linux Mint 19.3 64 bit. I have no idea how to work this yet, but the user guide and reference manual will make interesting (maybe) bedtime reading. It seems that the Readme.pdf file, which mentions installing th...

Re: Free Circuit Analysis Software

Thanks for the update Derek.

Unfortunately, while Spectrum Soft are giving this away free, they are keeping the source code locked up. At least for now. Shame.

Norm.

Free Circuit Analysis Software

It looks to be for Windows and I have not tried to use it on Linux under Wine, yet, but Spectrum Soft (no relation) are giving away Micro-Cap 12. Free, no source, no support, just the previous release CD.

https://www.spectrum-soft.com/download/download.shtm

If anyone is interested.

Norm.

Re: P.I. Cole - noir detective game

Can you substitute DJToolkit, also available from Dilwyn's fine site? If so, the manual has the command needed to link into Qliberator for compiling.

I don't know the commands for TinyToolkit, sorry.

Cheers,
Norm.
