Re: Q68 Software SD Card

Derek, I would love to have access to an online version of the Q68 image file. As I have said, I can build my own image, but would rather have one build by someone who knows what their doing. :oops: Whopper Not doing it yourself will probably end you up in never really knowing your way around in SM...

Re: Q68 Software SD Card

Derek,

I was one of the numpties who were requesting such a download. Until I realised just how simple it was to fit what-so-ever I wanted onto the SD card, including a .WIN of my own!

So thank you for this post and I'll try to improve. :oops:

Re: C++

Hi All, C++, as all programming languages, has it's place in the programmers tool box. Used at the correct time, for the correct purposes, it is invaluable. Used incorrectly it's the foundations of nightmares. I understand TT's, Linus' and many others dislike of OOP. But it isn't the languages fault...

Re: C++

Hi All,
I was wanting to use C++ classes for multiple LCD screens. That is just so much easier with C++. Using assembler (or C) I have to maintain two, or more, separate drivers for the screens. It can be done, just more messy and harder to maintain than with classes.

Re: C++

Tobias,

Thanks for this. I thought that this would be the case, but it would have made a project much easier with C+. Still never mind I suppose assembler will bo.

Re: TF Services Interfaces and BBC Micro:bit

I2C addressing is based on the most significant 7 bits of the address byte, thus the addressing range is 0 to 127. So if a devices address is 56(Hex) then the binary byte would be 0101 0110. To READ from this address that is the binary code which is sent to all of the present interfaces. Only the co...

Re: FGPA Anyone?

Fabrizo, Marcel,

Stupid questions first, did you check the ".QSF" file for the SD card pin assignments?

I haven't had a chance to check the ".QSF" against my DE2-115 but am sure that changes will be required.
