Re: A question about my game, boxed version or just for free?

Are people fussed about being able to buy a boxed version of my game? Part of me is thinking, it will be a lot of work getting boxes, sorting labels, posted etc. At the moment, I'm half tempted just to release it for free on the forum, with all documentation etc etc. Please post with thoughts. The ...

Re: A question about my game, boxed version or just for free?

Hi,

Why not put a cut down version of the game for downloaf and sell the full version.

The problem of publishing the ACT code, that ACT is still commerical and not officially availanle to all QL users.

Personally, I bought the DP Collection and use ACT on the Q68.

Re: MAB 8049H P A038 comapible?

Hi,

Very interesting read, but it does not say that Laurnce Reeves produced a debugged more efficient version of the 8049 called Hermes.

Personally, I would use Hermes over the 8049, it works better in the QL and is still available on Sellyouretro.

Re: 74HCxx vs 74LSxx

Hi Derek, Ah, `plating rivets', then. Looked for them on the net, they sell in a thousand pack, I have counted I just need 33 holes to plate through, standard 0.8mm drill, these are on the PCB front. The rest of PLCC68 holes are routed on the rear, no plating needed. Thank you Tomas Hi Thomas, I ha...

Re: 74HCxx vs 74LSxx

Hi Tom, The through plating could done with hollow PCB plating rivets. I use them to repair double sided PCBs, where the existing through plating has been damaged or pulled out of the PCB. The copper rivet is inserted into the PCB hole and using a special tool to compress the end onto the PCB and so...

Re: Assembler, header corrupt?

Hi Adam, I have just realised that QMAC v1.06 Quanta release, the Output File Type can be changed in the CONFIG Block within QMAC 1.06. You need to use Menuconfig to open QMAC, which will load the default CONFIG blocks, change the Output File Type to 1 This will give an executable file type when the...

Re: Got my QL today YAY but.....

Hi, I would not put WD40 or any aerosol oil into any electronics. At the bear minimum use a alcohol based IPA srpay. But you need to dismantle the Reset Switch to see what is wrong. The contacts that perform the electrical contact to give a reset signal maybe missing. When you get the new keyboard me...

Hi

Sounds like the keyboard membrane needs replacing.
