Hi Rich,
Are you still in contact with the authors of MacSporran's Lament, Dave and Ann Watson? I have found the game+manual which I bought from you/CGH Services back in the day. It would be great to get their permission to release it as freeware.

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
I've found a second disk with McSporran's lament on it, this one with v3.0.0 against the title. So hopefully between those two disks we'll have a complete extract.

Re: QL Cartridges lot on Ebay
OK so first the good news - I have found the disk with McSporran's Lament. Hopefully it's operational. I will try it when I dig the disk drives out this weekend. Now to Anelpum Quat. Sorry, I've confused this with Angstrom Angst. And a double confusion as my initial thought of the game being set in ...

Re: QLTerminal v2.35 with TheOldNet WiFi v4
I'm pretty sure it's a firmware issue as others have had this same problem. I connected briefly at both 300 and 9600. I have Hermes, a reliable cable made specifically for the QL. And I assume that QL Terminal is pretty battle hardened. So firmware. Or me. Actually, quite possibly me :D Anyway, when...

Re: QLTerminal v2.35 with TheOldNet WiFi v4
Although... would I be wrong to think that QL Terminal will set the QL rate too? Because when I connected to the BBS at 9600, it flew (well it flew in comparison to when I did it at 300). And I did not explcitely set the QL ser2 baud rate from SuperBASIC at that stage.

The default speed for that particular modem is 300 baud. Which is s.l.o.o.o.o.o.o.o.w

Re: QLTerminal v2.35 with TheOldNet WiFi v4
No, I did set the terminal to 9600: I managed to get to the BBS once. It was only after I hard-set the baud to 9600 using the configurator program that everything ground to a complete halt.
Anyway, I'll double check this weekend and let you know.
