The Gold Card can do HD drives.
This is correct as far as I remember it too Derek. I only ever had 1.44 Mb drives, and I used them and 1.44 Mb discs with my Trump card.

Re: Coding SuperBasic

Ok, I swear that I've not paid Dilwyn or Norman or anyone else to mention SSB. :-) I'm happy to mention SSB without payment! I am hooked on it for writing SuperBASIC code, and even more so after I fixed a bug and added a couple of changes which suited my way of coding, even if Tim wasn't too keen! ...

Re: New microdrive internal replacement

Feel free to ignore me!

You could save some board space by using a 3mm RGB LED instead of three of them perhaps? If you needed to indicate the three operations.

I suspect this is of no use whatsoever, so as I said, feel free to ignore me. ;)

Norm.

Re: EXIF

Morning Per,

It seems there are many confusing aspects to the dates and times in the EXIF data. According to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exif at least.

HTH a little.

Norm.

Re: SBASIC / SuperBASIC Reference Manual Online

Afternoon All. Just a quick update. I've upgraded the Online SuperBASIC Manual at https://superbasic-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ to include Derek's recent comments about the MACHINE command (https://superbasic-manual.readthedocs.io/en/latest/M/machine.html) beuing a bit out of date. In doing so...

Re: A guide to programming the Sinclair QL

Aye. The QL Homepage suffered from a number of problems that drove Dilwyn mad! The whole thing was migrated to our forum's hosting. There may still be some links pointing at the wrong place. Hopefully, if there are links in the online documentation, I'll get around to fixing them soon. There's a bug...

Re: FPGA replacment for the ZX8301 ULA and more

I'll attempt to update the online manual soon. Thanks for the info. EDIT. To correct the info. Oh hum, I tried an update but the build failed as the OAuth on my GitHub hadn't been allowed access from ReadTheDocs. I fixed that and the build failed with another problem that is supposed to have been f...
