That looks valid to me. If you have a Windows or Linux PC, you might want to try QStripper to see if it can open the file. If you copy the first few bytes of the file to the screen, what do you get? Theres a header area at the start, 20 bytes, and will have chr$(0), chr$(20), vrm1q - or very similar. Might be worth writing a quick SuperBASIC program to dump out the first 20 bytes? In character and numeric form, maybe we...

If I remember correctly, I think that files created with Xchange are not [always] backwards compatible with the original Psion files.

Usual caveats apply when discussing what I "remember" - I'm usually corrected! ;)
