Re: A Cautionary Tale

Would that have been Chivas Regal by any chance? It's made 12 miles from where I lived most of my life, a place called Keith, I kid you not.

That's where Chivas is distilled, I lived in Elgin.

I might be wrong, but when I got my Gold Card (not Super GC) I'm almost certain that the screen address moved from the "standard" address. Is this the case on the SGC as well? It's been a while since I had a GC (I donated it to Darren Brannagh for an elderly Gentleman's use some time back)...

Re: Qltools Updated to handle ED discs.

Another update: Revision 2.15.3 ⋅  More tidying up of the usage messages. Proper letter case etc. ⋅  Extracted common code from the three format routines to reduce duplication. ⋅  Validated the requested format to be 'd', 'e' or 'h' - due to the above. ⋅  Vers...

Re: QPC2 on Second Screen

Sorry Dilwyn, I have no idea. I tried the registry, looking for something in my %USERDIR% (or whatever it is called) but found nothing. When I move QPC2 to a location on screen and exit, it comes back up in a different position. There doesn't appear to be any INI files in the installation folder eit...

Re: Qltools Updated to handle ED discs.

Thanks for the info. To be honest, I've never heard of it!
It will definiteky be broken in 2.15.2.

Cheers,
Norm.

Qltools Updated to handle ED discs.

I've been playing with qltools (in my own repository - https://github.com/NormanDunbar/qltools) and I've made a few changes over version 2.15. I haven't pushed any changes to the SinclairQL repo, nor raised a pull request just yet - if people could test and see how it goes, I'd be grateful. It seems...

At the risk of being burned as a witch by the political correctness police, I rather suspect that it will [have to] be a woman.
Which is fine by me.

Re: XTC68 C Cross compiler

Thanks very much Dilwyn, that "on github" link now correctly points to the SinclairQL repository. As Rich recently fixed that codebase to include the stack smashing fix, you can probably get rid of this sentence now. (Sorry!): An update was done by Graeme Gregory in 2017 to fix a stacking ...
