Re: QLCOMMANDER - testers and help needed

Don't expect a Windows or QPC2 operation to remove these headers! After much (years) of deliberation (within my head) QPC2 will support these headers in a future version. I'm not very fond of them, but every solution has its drawbacks here. Of course I will only add them on files that need them, i....

Re: QLCOMMANDER - testers and help needed

I formated another card on Monday and started to install on it all that I had on the first card, this time using only QPC. Till now, it works if I use only QXL and RAM drives (no copying from DOS drives) but every time I put the card into the PC WIndows wants to check it for errors - and half of th...

Re: Resident QLib Jobs

I should have added that the patching programs referred to can be downloaded from Wolfgang's SMSQE pages at http://www.wlenerz.com/smsqe/add1.html

Re: Resident QLib Jobs

That is a known problem on SMSQ/E that QLib free running PROCedures won't work (which apparently boils down to the same thing) Not sure what the reason is, however. Tobias On the QLiberator page on my website http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/qlib/index.html there is an item called QLIB_RUN modified 2 . I do...

Re: UNZIP problem

I've just checked the zip file on the website by downloading and unzipping. I can confirm that the zip file itself is OK - the program executes normally.

I'm afraid I don't have knowledge of the Habi image editor for Qubide to know what issues there might be when using that.

Re: Level 2 check

You could probably test for the presence of the MAKE_DIR extension, but I seem to recall that QemuLator can't create directories in QXL.WINs for example. A while back I lifted the code for the LEVEL2 extension out of Norman Dunbar's DJToolkit and made a stand-alone extension function out of it, call...

Re: QL Jokes

MY PC GREETINGS TO ALL... At this time of the year it's difficult to know what to say without offending someone! So I've checked with my legal adviser and on her advice I wish to say the following to all friends and family. Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an...

Many years ago I heard a rumour, possibly via Dilwyn - but don't quote me on that, that a new PE version of QMON was coming out at some point.

Not guilty Norm. Never heard of this before. Thanks for the eComic BTW.

Re: EXEP on QPC

As others have said, the best solution is switching to Xchange to get a cleaner solution. The different hacks to Xchange e.g. for high colour systems are all on my website, Psions page http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/psions/index.html There is also Keith Murphy's Quill-e reworking on the same page which is ...
