Just a comment about the HDMI connector - isn't there a licensing issue with the HDMI connectors - I know that HDMI are unlikely to find out about the QIMSi, but worth being aware that they normally ask for a license fee to be paid to use their connector (it can be waived in some circumstances).

As the QL does not know the number of lines in the listing until it is fully loaded using a similar mechanism could not be programmed too easily. That is indeed a very interesting finding - I had not realised that lines without line numbers are executed as soon as the loading process reaches that line.
