Re: QL Tinkering

Of course the one thing which is missing (and which I did for my programs) was to track down the actual sources of bottlenecks in the program and re-write the function or procedure as a new machine code keyword....

Re: QL Tinkering

There are some tricks in SuperBASIC which can then help: Just a few minor updates to these excellent tips: a) Integer FOR loops are quicker (although they only work on Minerva and SMSQ/e) Both Turbo and Q-Liberator can also be made to use integer loop variables (see their respective manuals). Re: QL Tinkering

Welcome any reviews on Game and checks on my code where I might have screwed up, not having every platform to test the program on. It should Load and work on most although an original QL will need expanded memory. The QL2k emulator has a clock multiplier assuming x1 is equivalent to original QL har...

Re: Gigabasic

It works here on JS ROM in q-emulator using the supplied boot program and then LRUN flp1_sprite_gbs

Are you trying to use it with Minerva?

Re: Hello From France

Welcome Dominique. If you have the MicroAPL - is it the keyword or symbolic version (the symbolic version needs to be uploaded to Dilwyn's site as both are now freeware). We also need the manual scanning in if possible... It would be interesting to know what other software you might have - you would...

Re: Aurora somewhere?

I guess the Aurora has been surpassed now by the Q68 (well until there are some more Super Gold Card clones)...

Don't forget that there is currently no source of SuperHermes either :(

Re: Gold Card boots in monitor mode

It is probably set up with AUTO_TK2F1

You can disable this with AUTO_DIS or use AUTO_TK2F2 - see https://superbasic-manual.readthedocs.i ... auto-tk2f2
