I have plenty of spare key tops (and the small plastic pillars) as well as other keyboard parts (LEDs, back plates, rubber mats and membranes).

I charge £1 for a keytop (with matching pillar) and postage

Yes, there is a hardcoded limit of 32 for these. But then the 39 character limit is for the whole filename and DATAD$ is only the directory, which when used to the max doesn’t leave much space for the filename. No it wasn't a freeware then - it was just included on the microdrives for two commercial programs by Talent (which were written by the same author) as an extra You had to buy one of the commercial titles to get it, so the author still received his royal...
