I’ll try the Minerva ROM, when I have it spare, in the JM QL where it does work which I assume will resolve the conundrum?

I have one final FDC problem I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of replacement memory IC's for a "PCML Q+ Floppy Controller" please? The FDC I've picked up works ok (on a BBQL) but has no memory fitted in the 8 sockets (the whole board is socketed, so I won't need to...

I remember that I once had a QL that if I plugged a MicroP floppy interface, and an Miracle expander RAM into. The QL would not work. Either card on its own, and everything was OK. Which firmware has the MicroP controller, the original (with FDK device rather than FLP) or the replacement QJump?

It has QJump v1.19

Don’t think so

Can’t see any bent pins and all my other floppy controllers (various manufacturers) and other expansion boards are working fine in the Minerva QL

Yes

The only possibility I can think if is if your Minverva also has TK2, and the floppy interface is set for the ROM port address... TK2 is disabled on the ROM, but it could be a QIMSI clash in that case. Will test Many thanks Still works in JM QL with QIMSI plugged in, so definitely seems to be Miner...

TK2 is disabled on the ROM, but it could be a QIMSI clash in that case. Will test
