Got my cable (miniHDMI to HDMI) but doesn’t work with my screen sadly (signal out of range)
Have ordered a miniHDMI to VGA instead to try, so will have to wait until Monday to give it another go

Re: Announcing the new "Gold Card" - QIMSI Gold
I have read the manual (multiple times), I just didn't put everything together correctly in my mind Thanks and my apologies. The manual probably lacks clarity then. I have tried to provide a lot of flexibilty for QIMSI Gold, but unfortunately that also makes the system quite complex. Hi Peter, Defi...

Re: Announcing the new "Gold Card" - QIMSI Gold
This is probably a stupid question, but then I can be quite stupid :o If I use my QIMSI SD card in the QIMSI Gold it works fine as a QIMSI But when I use the QIMSI Gold SD card the QL hangs at the Minerva F1/F2 screen Is it a case that when using the QIMSI Gold SD card I MUST have an external displa...

Re: Quill from Gilsoft
It’s just reached £32 and in the words of a dragon “I’m out!” If it were for the community, I would collaborate in purchase of it, digitalize it and then share it with everyone. Re: Quill from Gilsoft
I notice there is a copy of The Quill for sale on eBay. No idea what version it is though. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305613511362 I did some bidding on it but bailed out before reaching the previous bidder's max. (Hope it wasn't someone here.) It was, but not expecting to win. 2 others were sold r...

Re: 68K/OS "ROM" based disk attempt
As per my previous post - the OE signal on the Eprom is active low - and on the QL PCB - and hence on the ROM socket - it's active high. You will need to invert the signal with a transistor or a logic gate. Easiest would be to use a BS170 mosfet - gate to the ROMOEH signal on the QL socket, Source ...
