Starting to put money aside today! Whatever that small surprise is, I am sure it will be very cool.

Re: QL2VGA on American hardware
How did this work out for you? It works very well, with a good image quality. However, I am not sure my QL with JSU still have the video chip (ZX8301) that was installed originally in this north america QL, as I did many modification over the years. The one installed right now it a CLA2310. Another...

Re: Defective QL PSU
Probably more useful to monitor the voltage levels on the main 9v output whilst the QL is running. The requirements for the 15Vac supply are a lot less demanding - and even the higher voltages are within the specification of the small regulator IC's that reduce this to +/- 12V DC My guess is that t...

Defective QL PSU
Hi, I recently plugged my old original QL PSU to my QLs (I have a modern replacement for everyday use) and got unexpected results. This PSU has always worked great. But now when I plug it to QL #1 (goldcard) the QL doesn't boot and instead produced a very scary buzzing sound. When plugged to QL#2 (5...

Re: Breaking news: The QIMSI Interface
Peter,
Do you see any problem using your QIMSI Interface with a Aurora board (assuming the correct ROM interface converter) ?

Assembler most likely. Would use it as computing accelerator for chess algorithm.Peter wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 8:27 pmWould you program it in C or assembler?FrancoisLanciault wrote: ↑Sat Oct 07, 2023 5:45 pm but I MUST have this new interface!!! 68040 like coprocessor that is difficult to use! Re: Breaking news: The QIMSI Interface
I have 3 QLs and all of them are maxed out with either super gold card with mechanical hard drives, QL-SD on another and a V-Drive on the last one… but but I MUST have this new interface!!! 68040 like coprocessor that is difficult to use! What can be more appealing!
