Re: QIMSI

Hi Jože,

no need to do this with QPCII.
Dilwyn made some empty containers available on his page, kindly check:

Was this keyboard project finalised?
Anyone tried to port it to RPi?

Re: USB Keyboard IF

Yes, this adapter works in parallel with the original keyboard. I thought so, so the QL could be under the desk, with a switchable keyboard, integrating into a multi computer setup with a switch box. Saves wear on the QL Keyboard Memrane No problem to use this adapter in a setup as described by Der...

Re: FPGA replacment for the ZX8301 ULA and more

Hi Leon, Peter, Leon, do you remember when you sent me a very early version of the ULA replacement? I had the same issue as Peter has now. It was a timing problem linked to RAM chips. You send me a different version of logic of the PLD which fixed the issue, slower RAM access, if I recall correct. P...

Re: QL replica

1. There is just no demand. When I developed the QL K/B to PS/2 adapter, which is a part of the QLbase almost no one was interested. Also the interest for QL base was rather low. This topic is very interesting that I cannot resist to comment: - QL K/B to PS/2 adapter: i was not aware of this, my op...

Re: QL replica

Dear mhanias, to me the answer is very simple. The QL community is too small, too small in 2 ways: 1. There is just no demand. When I developed the QL K/B to PS/2 adapter, which is a part of the QLbase almost no one was interested. Also the interest for QL base was rather low. 2. There are not enoug...

Hi Leon,

The simple board with no memory works fine as far as I can test it and a few (maybe 5) boards will be available when parts arrive (may take a month may take longer) for the ones with problem with their zx8301.
Are you going to solder these 5 boards by hand?

Re: QIMSI

Hi Derek, I do not know where this reference to WIN_USE comes from, as this command just renames the WIN device driver name. Dilwyn gave the explanation already, quote from him take from other QIMSI thread: 3. If the QL has a floppy disk drive and you boot from a floppy disc for any reason, the magi...
