Re: Themes

Hi Per,

I understood that when I first tried the programs but must have somehow not supplied the file name correctly as I did not bother to link it to FI2 and did not EX from SBASIC.

BTW thanks for the pointers to the meaning of the contents of the theme file in your previous posts.

Re: Themes

Hi Tobias,

You are correct. I have tried it again and it works.
I was certain that I had supplied a file on the command line, but now that I have tried again it works so somehow the filename was not there previously or it was wrong.

Re: Themes

Hi Per, I have had a look at the Themes v5 package. I could not get the QLiberated executable SiThVi.obj to run. It crashed at line 620. Executing the SBasic source from within QD also crashed with the error Line 620 4 Invalid name. Looking at the line the statement ERT -12 is the problem. SBASIC wi...

Re: Themes

Hi Per,

Thanks for the pointer to that document, so if I now understand it correctly only the hex numbers in the saved theme files that have the first bit set are the 15 bit colours that are used for paper ink etc, while the other numbers are borders, stipples etc.

Thanks.

Themes

Hi It may be a question that has been asked before, but what I am wondering is which mode is used for the 16 bit colours in themes. Have looked through Dilwyn's site and QToday without finding an answer. Are they mode 32 or if not what are they? Why? I have been looking at updating EddIcon. Thanks f...

Re: QL expansion serial card...

Hi

There is also the superHermes board, up to 6 serial ports, & compatible with original QL motherboard and Aurora.

Re: Q68 Ethernet

Back in 2006 Jonathon Dent was working on a TCP/IP internet connection package. I had a version, as did others to test called soQL3_1.zip. At that time the only way to connect a hardware QL to the internet was through the serial port. Does anyone know what happened to that?

Re: SuperBASIC omission (bug?) in SMSQ/E?

Alternatively there is the ClipScrapBoard package, CSB218.zip on Dilwyn's utilities download page. This contains PasteIt_obj that does the same with ED or other programs with a cursor. Same caveat - to paste in to ED an initial line number mus be given in ED. Just press enter after starting ED. Past...

Re: Status of QMON

Hi Oliver Great, if you can share the PERFECTION file then I'll use that as a baseline for the current version - saves me quite some typing and is probably already the manual Marcel is looking for. Anyway, I'd still make a Word version. Attached is a .zip with the QMON manual from DP's QL collection...

Re: Status of QMON

Hello, I have the QMON manual that came with DP's collection as a PERFECTION document. I can convert this to word or PDF. I just don't have the time at the moment but can do so this evening.
