This is a blast from the past, I used to have this on most of my QLs, but lost the information, so thank you Dilwyn for the update.
I remember, that I did not want to solder direct onto the 8049, so I made a little circuit board to mount the Capsled and the 8049 and then plug into the QL socket. I seem to remember there was just enough room to get the QL keyboard on.

I also has a QL board in a Memotech MTX512 case with custom rewiring for the keyboard, may the QL look really slick.

Thanks to Cristian, there's now a PDF of the documents supplied with the Caps LED zip file. Cristian improved the quality of the scans, much easier to read now. Available from the same page (separate link for the PDF).
