A newly revised version of the Linux QL emulator uQLx (uQLx 2017) is now available.

Graeme Gregory has "brutalised" (as he puts it on github) the sources to bring them up to date. New binaries are available for 32- and 64-bit x86 systems, as well as ARM (6/7/8). Includes binaries ready to run. Includes documentation from Timothy Swenson to get you started along with a small QXL.win file.

The binaries are available to download from the emulators page on my website http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/emu/index.html# ... Linux_etc., while the sources are available from the Sinclair QL Github at https://github.com/SinclairQL/uqlx-fork.

The sources are available from my website too in case of difficulty, but I recommend you get them from the github repository to make sure you get the latest sources.

Thank you.

I'm afraid the binaries are only available for Linux?

BTW: May it be, that it isn't possible to login to the forum on a second machine, if one is already logged in on another machine? I wanted to login from my Windows 10 tablet (Visual Studio 2015 and QPC2 are perfectly running on this 9.7" 99.- EUR tablet ;-)), but I've always got the error message, that the password is wrong (but I'm sure I have typed it correct).

Yup, the u stands for Unix :-)

I know, but there is also Windows version. Unfortunately it requires CygWin, and Windows Services for UNIX from Microsoft itself is no more supported. If WSfU would still run on Windows 10, it would perhaps be possible to get a "native" (quoted, as of course the CygWin version is a native windows version) Windows version of uQLX.

Win10 then just install WSL (otherise known as bash on windows) and run the Linux binary.

CentOS six is caveman era in Linux terms, just re-compile and it will work!

Played with it today. Have some questions, maybe some findings.

Where do you want me/us to ask questions or report findings/bugs?

E-Mail? To who?

Forum thread?

Forum PM?
