Mini QL Workshop

Today I took advantage of the opportunity to join some QL users from the north of England at a mini QL workshop held in a Quanta committee member's home. This was the first in a series of four such events planned in 2016. 9 of us came together for an afternoon of QLing. Read my report and details of when the next event will be held on my blog at https://dilwyn2.wordpress.com/ - the posting heading is 'Mini Workshop'.

Thanks.
The event was a lot less formal, less structured than the traditional QL events such as Quanta Workshops - just a group of QL users meeting in each others' homes. More like a local group meeting, but with people from out of the area welcome too. In fact, John and Sarah Gilpin say anyone is welcome to attend the future events on April 24th, June 26th and October 30th 2016 - just contact one of them first to double check the date, time and venue in case anything has changed between now and then.
Sarah laid on some refreshments and we all contributed a couple of pounds towards the cost.
The one on 24th April is in fact the Quanta Annual General Meeting. Anyone is welcome to come along, but only members can vote at the meeting.
Hopefully, with attendances at the original workshops falling in recent years, holding them less formally like this means a cozier, simpler and cheaper event while retaining the fun, social aspect of face to face QL meetings.

Summer is over, days are getting shorter, outdoor activities may become the 2nd best choice, hence many of us will find more time for QL tinkering during the cold winter half year.

Earlier this year Dilwyn reported on a Mini Workshop which was held on February 7th 2016 and gave an outlook on future mini workshops.
https://dilwyn2.wordpress.com/2016/02/07/mini-workshop/
“For 2016, the dates set so far include April 24th, June 26th and October 30th, all Sundays, from 1pm to 7pm.”

Question: Does the (Mini) Workshop happen on Sunday October 30th? If yes, where?
