Free book on Assembly Programming.

Post by NormanDunbar »

For those who don't know yet, I've taken years of QL Today Assembly Language articles, and built a book out of them.

You can get the whole thing, which is a pdf file of around 350 pages, neatly type set and searchable, printable etc, no DRM, at http://qdosmsq.dunbar-it.co.uk/download ... sembly.pdf - enjoy!

It makes an ideal last minute Christmas present! :D

Cheers,
Norm.

Thanks. Ifit was printed, it would cost money. If it cost money, and I sold it outside the UK, all these new VAT rules would come into force and I'd get screwed over by yet another fscked up EU directive.

Hence it's a pdf and anyone wanting a printed and bound copy, unfortunately, will have to do it themselves.

Not wanting to derail this thread, but it is so annoying that (a) VAT exists and (b) in the UK we have such a stupidly high rate of VAT (20%, or 1/5, that's 20p in every £1 on VAT chargeable goods). If we did not have VAT, this problem would not exist... Now why can't we charge politicians per word for speaking or writing about tax rules?

Anyway, back to comments and praise the excellent assembly book 8-)

Hi Derek,

I'll see what I can do post festivities. Any particular format?
