2x Original QLs working (except mdv)

On offer here are 2 sort-of working QLs. Sort of, due mainly to non functioning microdrives. Both are in used condition but cosmetically generally ok with all keys present.

SOLD No. 1 is an issue 5 PCB with serial D09-024322 (with the socket for a 74LS00, so a bit more flexible with EPROM usage - if you want). It has a new k/b membrane and boots happily all the way and all the keys work. The drives spin when they should but when access is attempted in any way (dir, format etc) they just spin for a little while and report 'not found'. I haven't investigated any further. It is missing it's expansion slot plastic cover but both ROM and mdv covers are present. EUR125.00 for spares or repair.

No. 2 is an issue 6 PCB with serial D14-089363. It's k/b membrane is non functional... i.e. original and broken. When tested with another membrane (not included) it also happily boots all the way as normal. When attempting to access the microdrives there is no sign of life, neither spin, this has also not been investigated further. This one is also missing it's main expansion plastic cover. EUR100.00 for spares or repair.

I also have an original PSU, working, for EUR40.00.

Hello Bruno, yes it certainly would allow you to revert that back to original and with plenty of spare parts left over. I'll also throw in the 2 m/b keyboard connectors, in case you need those (they may have been widened by the small PCB that is plugged into your existing connectors).

I just replaced the keyboard
I also replaced the keyboard cable connectors
you were right it was necessary
my microdrives are badly aged
but I was able to find basic fractal software
which still works
