"VIDEOs" system by Probact Computers

Post by RWAP »

I have come across a couple of cartridges containing the "VIDEOs" system, designed by and written by Jeffrey Moine of Probact Computers Ltd, Brighton in 1985 (although copyright goes through to 1991)

This is basically a suite of Archive programs for cataloging videos and recordings.

Unfortunately, one of the program files is corrupt (as is so often the case)...

Has anyone ever come across this before?

I have actually found Mr Moine on the internet and am now emailing him - he doesn't remember giving this out to anyone and it was not commercial, so I will see if I can get a fully working copy for PD release.

Well the author has agreed to make this available public domain and is sending me what copies he has so fingers crossed I can rescue the missing files.

He also has a stamp collection set of routines which he will send.

So ideal for Kung Fu films and The Postman Always Rings Twice!
