Hi,
I have been looking at the speed of QPC2 on a Linux system under Wine.
I am wondering what is the best QL Benchmark programme to compare a QL emulator to real hardware.
Drystones or Bogomips....
QL Benchmark

Re: QL Benchmark
I'm interested in this too.
We have some new hardware with a faster CPU, but in the future we may well do something multicore. And a LOT faster. Everyone using the same benchmark would be good for comparison testing. Also, compatibility testing?

Re: QL Benchmark
Hi,
I have looked into this a little deeper.
There are Benchmark programmes on Dilwyn's web site.
Only 3 programmes:
QSI
Maths Benchmark program
Test909
Which give data tables of exisiting tested machine.
There is also TINDEX, included as part of QTOP, in the QLE Disro.Which has tested machines in the manual.
There needs to be a table of tested QL hardware, which is the best Benchmark programme?
