Another option, but limited to Minerva users, would be to alternate the loading of the screen, so that the first one gets moved to $20000, the second screen then moved to $28000 and then the display is flicked between the dual screen when the timer is up.

That allows background loading of each screen into display memory and should allow for faster animations if necessary - add timers from the DIY toolkit to get precise timing and that should be it.

With QubIDE and QL-SD interfaces, maybe someone should look at porting Dragon's Lair to the QL - it has been ported to the ZX81..... :)

Nice idea, if divided in different categories: basic real QL, goldcards, QPC2...

Hi RIch,

I looked at porting the NES 6502 source code to the QL a while back, but I only got to writing library files to emulate 6502 codes.

I have never played Dragon's Lair, is it a good game?

It is not my cup of tea, but the majority of the play is basically video streaming - I have asked Jim Bagley for some details...

Hi, is there a youtube of these animations? Am traveling and can not fire up any emulation right now to test it.
