Things I did this morning:
Connected my QL to my WiFi access point using WPA2-Enterprise.
Used it to resolve mail.google.com to 216.58.218.165
Made an SSL connection to 216.58.218.165 and fetched a list of my mail.
Fetched a small email. Watched it change from NEW to READ in my Mac's browser moments later.
Yes, useful SHA-2, AES, RSA and ECC are working. Quickly. This obstacle is removed.
I will endeavor to make this available to all as quickly as possible.

Crumbs! That's pretty awesome, Dave!
Even an old PC laptop/adapter of mine fails to work with recent Wifi WPA standards and SHA-2 encryption!
Looking forward to hearing how you built-out the capability on a humble QL!

I hope to bring a mass market adapter to completion for people in that situation. Something for an expresscard slot, or that uses a regular serial port maybe. I'm surprised nobody else is making the obvious things already.martyn_hill wrote:Crumbs! That's pretty awesome, Dave!
