Well, this afternoon I had a couple of hours of free time - a rare occurrence - so I sat down with my QL, C1 FORTH compiler and a programming book, and did some 80's style programming. I had forgotten how much fun it was to tinker with software, shuffle between diskettes (I only have a one-drive unit at the moment), and hack at debugging a misbehaving program.
If you haven't done it for a while, I encourage you to give it a go!
George.

Re: Forgotten fun
I recently got a couple of QL machines with FDD interface and one of my goals is to go back programming in Pascal or C.
Currently I'm struggling to create floppies from the zip files of software I've found online.
