One more question: how to fix the problems in QLTERM about Cursors keys?

is really impossibile to use a BBS without the cursors keys for read mails and messages in the newsgroups.

Can you fix it?

Also the Backspace will be great to be fixed as feature ;)

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.
Do they use ANSI sequences or control codes 8-11?
BTW, CTRL-H can be used as backspace on many BBs.

later, Jan.
Ok for Control-H works but...the Cursors Keys? ;)

Without it people can't use the Files and Messages menu, are necessary.

Mystic BBS documentation here:

Thanks.

It looks like MysticBBS accepts only VT52 keypad escape codes (e.g. ESC D) and not ANSI codes (ESC [ D).
Changing the mode to VT52 in QLterm won't help as this disables ANSI display too :(
This won't be very hard to fix as I can simply ignore the mode on incoming data and accept both VT52 and ANSI on input so you can set VT52 mode for cursor keys and still have ANSI. I'll let you know asap when I have a fix (I need to fix a few other bugs too).

Meanwhile, you can visit my new old BBS at bbs.bredenbeek.net via Telnet from now on!

later, Jan.

For some reason the telnet server hung. Should be working now...

I'm still tuning the configuration. It's mainly to avoid abuse (I get a lot of fake logins from botnets trying to login as root or admin). It looks like that some settings in the Telnet server cause it to crash.
I might move to a different port from 23 to reduce the fake logins (and yes these abusers also try 2323).
It should be up again now.

later, Jan.
