Re: QLAN-USB Adapter - working prototype...

Don't worry, Martyn. We'll take the pressure off with our alternate solution to this problem. ;)

Re: Status of QMON

If nobody else has emailed TT, I can do it. Least helpful thing though is a barrage of emails...

Rich, if you have a template email that works for you maybe you could email me a copy? If not, I'll drum something up.

Re: QL prototyping board...

I'm wrapping up development of the prototyping board. It's ready! It has a dual power regulator - 5V @1A and your choice of 1.5, 1.8, 2.5, 2.85, 3.3 or 5v for the second rail. It will be available in a few weeks when the PCBs arrive. A bare PCB will be £10, shipped. One that has the power supply com...

Re: QL Eprom Programmer

27V programmable devices will program correctly with 21V - using the intelligent mode it's just a little slower. Failing that, you can bump up the voltage just by adjusting a variable resistor. You can definitely program the 2732 if you just make a little adapter board. I will be releasing a batch o...

Re: Minerva boards...

It looks like the economics of it mean there won't be a clock option. I'm comfortable with that because there will be something else with Minerva and a battery backed clock in the next few months. It's much cheaper to incorporate it into something else than to to it as a standalone board. Meanwhile,...

Re: Wanted: Issue 7 QL PCB.

We're still looking for an Issue 7 QL motherboard. We do have an offer, but it is a bit pricey for my blood. Once paying and shipping is taken into account, it will drain a fair bit from the development budget. The board would be used for compatibility testing of designs of specific interest to the ...

Re: QL Eprom Programmer

I'm interested, too. I'd be happy to co-operate with anyone on this if it helps make it happen. I could have a PCB done from a schematic and ordered within a day. Paul's already expressed interest so I'll defer to him, but if you need this I can get ten made quickly. I was looking at the QEPIII a fe...

Re: What video display do you use?

Where it gets really nasty is that if you use the HDMI connector and you're below the 10,000 unit $10,000/yr + 15c/unit (5c/unit if you use the HDMI logo) level, they have a low volume license that is $5,000/yr and 15c/unit. If we include something that has paid the fee and we're just bundled with i...
