Hi,
There is a Black retaining clip that slides up that locks the wires in place.
Note the Clip does not come off, just lever it up carefully at each end a small amount, less than a millimetre.

Re: Launchpad v2.12 Update
Hi,
Thank you for the update to this excellent software, I am using Lauchpad on the Q68, makes the sytem work nice.
I use Launchpad 1 on the Q68 in DISP_MODE 4 (1024x768) runs well on my 23" LCD monitor.

Re: Q-Liberator 3.46
Hi,
I downloaded the zip file and unstalled it onto a QLWA file for SMSQmulator, QPC2, Q68, QL + Trump Card 2, QIMSI, QLSD.
All works great, Qliberator is one the bext QL software available.
Thank you for the upgrade to this excellent compiler system and making it freely available.

Hi, The QXL 1 has a 50Mhz Clock, which the 68040 CPU reduces the clock speed by 50% to 25Mhz. Maybe if a 68060 with an adapter board was instered into the QXL 68040 CPU socket, the QXL may run at 50Mhz. This seems to work with Amiga 68040 boards. Whether this works on a QXL is debatable, I have a co...

Re: Quill Explodes with ptr_gen loaded?
Hi, I think you need to read the SUB manual again. Lets say I store Quill docs in: WIN1_data_docs_quill_ Load up SUB_REXT and configure: SUB_DRV WIN1 SUB_USE 1,DATA_DOCS_QUILL The SUB device can be renamed with the SUB_USE command: SUB_USE FLP DIR FLP1_ dives the listing of the Quill subdirectory. T...

Re: Q68 Advance Notice
Hi, During the last weekend dex was kind enough to let me use his Q68 for the whole two days, and I came to the conclusion that I want one. And because it was quite a big computer event, the person sitting next to me had the same opinion. Derek, please, would it be possible to get two from the next...

Re: QL <-> MOXA Nport 5150A and Internet! Surf on Telnet connected BBS
Hi,
All that is required is connect the QL to a Linux computer by serial ports, running TCPSER which configures the Serial port as a Hayes Modem.
Or use a WIFI modem with a QL serial lead, all works perfectly.
