Sam Coupé
This one's for XorA and all the Sam Coupé owners out there... Screen Shot 2017-05-30 at 3.52.39 AM.png I'll send him one for testing, and if everything's correct (I just spent 6 hours checking it point to point) I'll be sending a batch over to the UK. They'll be a lot cheaper than the current 256K e...

Re: New QL backplane.
After this batch is gone, Paul in Germany will take over assembly. It definitely will make it cheaper than shipping from the US. Hi, Dave. I sent you a private message few days ago but I have not had any response. Should I wait for your answer or should I contact with Paul for qlplane orders? Best ...

Re: New QL backplane.
Ok, I've sold through the entire stock of DIN connectors as of now.
I'll start taking orders again next week when more connectors arrive. They cost a bit less, so I'll be adjusting the price to reflect the lower costs.

Re: The Future of the QL Wiki
It does seem that, given the small amount of data, simply cut'n'pasting it to a more mainstream system and recreating the content without porting the database would take the same or less time, and would maybe yield better/more satisfying results. It just requires good organization at the start to ma...

Re: The Future of the QL Wiki
It doesn't matter. Rich thinks I'd be "taking on too much." That's a politically correct insult of the highest order. I currently run a hiking group with 2,615 members, which has a wiki with 16 active and 5 inactive editors. I also am a WRT coder. A small part of a big team, but something ...

Re: Still possible to get Minerva ROM
I have a crapt.... large number of the carrier boards in storage. Something like 80 or so, with IC on them but pins not attached IIRC. I'll go to the storage on Wednesday and dig them out.

Re: CST Thor 1
Time to whip out the logic analyzer. :/
I have a USB one. It's a nicer one, but 16 channel @ 16MHz can be had cheaply for around $75.

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
I think I have six or eight MC6821P around here in a tube. If you make progress on this let me know and I'll send them to you. I can easily get more for very little as the Motorola/Freescale bulk/surplus warehouse is just a couple of miles away. Just let me know.

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
Good work! I think for this ROM image, you're well into the realm of "software preservation." Also, the image is going to someone who legitimately has the board. I have one of these laying around in a drawer but it never had the ROM, so I feel Paul's pain. I wanted to incorporate the sound...

All currently paid orders are now shipped. Any orders after today will ship Tuesday due to Memorial Day weekend.
