Re: Aligning text and graphics according to SCALE
Ah - I am not giving away my development toolkit... You don't need the machine code function really - you should know the size and position of the window, unless you allow the user to resize it! Otherwise, use the Display Toolkit from Dilwyn's site ( http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/tk/display2.zip )- it has...

Phillips 8833 MOnitor
Does anyone use a Phillips 8833 monitor with the QL ?
One of my customers has bought one as a replacement for his older QL monitor (which is no longer working) but only gets a white screen when connecting via SCART.
I have a QL - 6 pin DIN standard monitor cable here - will that do?

Aligning text and graphics according to SCALE
I often see comments (or get asked) about how you align cursor co-ordinates (eg for text) with graphics co-ordinates (which are based on the scale command). I did this for Q-Route, and so thought that now the time is nigh to release the code for this common problem. There is some details about it in...

Re: Seen on eBay
I was interested in this, but all the removable chips are missing. Seven processors, seven ZX8301's, seven ZX8302's to complete this will eat much money. I wanted to use Q-LAN connections between boards to build a QL based parallel computer - like AppleCrate II ( http://home.comcast.net/~mjmahon/Ap...

QL Monitor wanted
Does anyone have a QL monitor for sale in the Stoke Poges area of Buckinhamshire?
A customer down there needs to replace his existing monitor - they just do not survive being sent by courier so it needs to be someone nearby

Re: Talent Software - Removing Copy Protection
I don't mind a little innuendo - though I was never taken that much by Samantha Fox... Thanks to one of the users on here, I now have a working copy of Lands of Havoc :D He also provided me with Cartridge Doctor which runs without copy protection - although this has the v1.1a boot loader (which load...
