Number of QL connectors I've broken in ~10,000 insertion cycles: 1.

Number of USB cables I have had to throw away because they broke: 25 or so.

The insertion lifecycle is quite generous. 400 is the minimum time for any wear to occur just to wear through the thinnest gold plating on one pin. These still work well within spec if all the gold is worn off.

Hopefully not a problem!

They're great connectors, but they're not very dense.

I have been using 16V8 and 20V8 with no problems using a generic programmer. As long as they're not faster than approximately 60-70ns they seem to reliably work. If this QubIDE works with unaltered 1.X PALs it will absolutely work with 2.X PALs also.
