Does anyone have a QL monitor for sale in the Stoke Poges area of Buckinhamshire?
A customer down there needs to replace his existing monitor - they just do not survive being sent by courier so it needs to be someone nearby

Re: Talent Software - Removing Copy Protection
I don't mind a little innuendo - though I was never taken that much by Samantha Fox... Thanks to one of the users on here, I now have a working copy of Lands of Havoc :D He also provided me with Cartridge Doctor which runs without copy protection - although this has the v1.1a boot loader (which load...

Re: CP/M
There were a few CP/M emulators: CP/Mulator by Sandy http://www.rwapadventures.com/ql_wiki/index.php?title=CP%2FMulator This seems to work fine - it was supplied on a ROM cartridge, but works on q-emulator CP/M 68K Operating System by Quest http://www.rwapadventures.com/ql_wiki/index.php?title=CP%2F...

ICL One Per Desk Computer - Bedfordshire
Does anyone want to collect an ICL One Per Desk Computer, complete with colour monitor and disk drive plus a couple of boxes of other items from Biggleswade, Bedfordshire ? If so, PM me - BUT it needs collecting before the end of the week! Unfortunately, it is not worth my mileage to see what there ...

Talent Software - Removing Copy Protection
Does anyone have any working copies of : a) Cartridge Doctor b) PCB 1 and 2 Both are by Talent - I do of course offer these programs to people who are interested - but I cannot find my version of Cartridge Doctor which has the copy protection removed and works on expanded memory (I think the boot fi...

Re: SuperBasic for the PC
At the moment, nothing like this exists - perhaps a good start would be to look at I was modifying one of these BBC Basic Open Source compilers out there to be closer to S*Basic's syntax (thanks for the suggestion Phoebus - via Facebook!) - mind you, I can't find one of these...

Re: SuperBasic for the PC
I presume you mean QPC2.... There are some very good QL emulators for the PC - other than QPC2, in my opinion the best one is Q-emuLator - http://terdina.net/ql/q-emulator.html You can also try the new java SMSQ/e emulator (SMSQmulator) - it is based on the SMSQ/e operating system rather than standa...

Re: Qubide clone
That does of course work - however, you ideally both need toolkit II so you can set up one machine as a fileserver !
The problem is finding someone else who has a disk drive so this is not a mass market solution....

Re: Qubide clone
Not at the moment - Daniele Terdina would need information on the format used by QubIDE for hard disks and hopefully try to replicate it.... Currently both QPC2 and q-emulator can handle qxl.win files. There is a tool for the QL to read data from within a qxl.win file (eg. on a CD-ROM) - alas that t...
