Re: The background to my presence here
Small warning for those who run into the same problem as I did with the QemuLator update. Windows 10 refuses to let you install it! Warns it could harm your computer! Of course you can override that in Windows and proceed with the installation anyway. You need to uninstall the emulator first, then r...

Re: The background to my presence here
Hi, Why not just pay the Q-emulator registration fee and use all the extended facilities available. I hear people moaning that they can not transfer the contents of a ZIP file into QL environment, just use the Registered Q-emulator feature of mounting the ZIP archive file as a microdrive. This is o...

Re: The background to my presence here
Glad you found my site. I try to cram as much QL stuff in there as I can as the host ISP has been quite generous with the amount of space it uses. As I started to see many QL-related sites closing over the years, I thought it best to gather as much stuff in one place as possible for fear of QL-relat...

Re: Native QL?
Do QL emulators running on 68000 systems count, e.g. the Amiga QL emulators (QDOS4Amiga and QDOS Classic)? And possibly QLem for Atari ST?

Re: Text87 Plus4
AFAIK, no, it's never been released from commercial status.
There is a demo version on my site which will load Text 87 files, but will not save, export or print. Probably adequate for viewing Text 87 documents.

Re: Knoware.no
Ive now added QV/QuickView back to Knoware.no. Great(?) for viewing many graphic file formats on SMSQ/E + GD2 capable systems. Preferably fast CPUs & large screens, also ok for viewing typical QL -type and -sized graphics on Q68 (eg disp mode 3) and better. Note: This is not a finished product,...

Re: Elaborate Bytes Toolkit v4.00.
No, I agree, sometimes they start up with the menu, sometimes not, most probably just too fast as you say. Tried it with QPC2 again. Even with QPC2 set to QL screen mode at 512x256 on startup it only gets as far as playing music and the startup screen. The game doesn't actually start, but the emulat...
