Re: "what-if" QL extended graphics

Hi,

Could SCR0 & SCR1 be combined, so that there 512x512 available.

Sort like the Second Screen enabled, but all the video accessible.

This would mean moving the System Variables, which is already done with Minerva

Re: CPLD replacement for ZX8301

Hint for those that are going to build it. It's better not to solder the header for the programmer or the QL case won't close and you'll have to de-solder or cut the pins. Just insert it in place and while programing press slightly sideways in order to make good contact for the few seconds the prog...

Re: sQLux v1.0 (The Xmas Turkey)

Hi,

Maybe sQLux could pre-compiled and put into a Docker file with all the patgs and WIN drives setup.

But I like to compile and config the software myself.

Re: SMFX - So Whatt? QL Sprite Record

Hi,

Nice YouTube video.

I tried the SOHATT.IMG file on the Q68, which runs very nicely in 512x256 4 Colour mode.

Re: Rich is in the news!

HI, Nice video... I am not sure about the statements about "No open source QL implementation of Superbasic" Since SMSQ/E and Minerva source code is freely available, which covers SuperBASIC and SBASIC, but they need an emulator to run in. The QL emulators are also open source: SMSQmulator ...

Re: The Sinclair QL DOS Experiment

Hi,

There are some extensions called ENV_BIN that should be loaded, that allow environmental variables to be loaded.

This should of been included in the Qliberator distribution, but can be downloaded from the QL Home Page: Toolkit Section or this link:

Re: Q68 screen dumps

Hi, There is a program called "Grabit" by Phil Jones, on QL Home Page, which help, it is S*Basic. http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/graphics/grabit430.zip The documentation says it can grab section of the screen memory, but not sure if it handle the Q68 screen memory. I have a few Q68 boards made, s...

Re: OqtaDrive

Hi,

Sorry for the typying error, I meant to say TAP files stored on the Oqtadrive.

However, thinking about it, TAP files will appear as files to the Spectrum emulator load screen.
