Keyboard membrane connectors.
I have found reliable sources of the 9- and 11-pin membrane connectors here in the US. I can order in quite small or large quantities and the items are standard stock items. It works out around $2.50 for a matched pair for a QL. They also have all the other standard sizes. I have ordered 10 of each ...

Re: Miracle Super Gold card
To my mind, QL-SD and QubIDE, when using the exact same driver appear to the QL as exactly the same thing.
Except QL-SD media is cheaper, more reliable, and ubiquitous.

I'll be explaining my, err, new thing, and doing a live video feed to demonstrate it. It is pretty cool.
Be there or be somewhere else.

Re: QL 34th Anniversary new hardware.
That feeling when you get out your PLCC-20 to DIP-20 adapter to program a GAL, and it's..... DEFECTIVE. And you look online, and you could have one tomorrow, but it'll be $150, plus $40 shipping. Or you could order one from China, but it'll be 21+ days. So you buy a PCB printer CNC milling machine. ...

Re: All RAM chips destroyed??
Your comments about the 8302 make it highly suspect. The 8302 is on the data bus, plus A0, A1 and A5. It receives keyboard input from the 8049. If active when video is being read out, it would create this type of shimmery stipple pattern, and its data connections are tri-state. I've seen a lot of th...

Re: All RAM chips destroyed??
And you say this had AH ROMs? It looks like maybe the required mods either haven't been done, or have been done incorrectly? Explanations: pull-up/pull-down : A pin may be shorted (even intermittently) to GROUND (pulled down) or to 5V (pulled up). It could just become disconnected (open circuit, or ...
