Re: CTL plug type
I guess this should be the correct one: http://uk.farnell.com/pro-signal/a136/plug-631a-6way/dp/916535 "Until stocks exhausted".... Tobias Those are the right hand ones (for serial ports) - the left hand ones are: http://uk.farnell.com/pro-signal/a172/plug-630a-6way/dp/916559 We will see ...

Re: CTL plug type
Unfortunately, these are extremely hard to find. The correct ones were listed a short while back on sellmyretro.com - see: http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/details/2650 Alas, I just happened to come across those two. The Serial Ports use the BT 630W connector, but I don't know the part number for th...

Re: QL Show 13th / 14th April 2013
Skype worked OK with a couple of small glitches - I don't have a webcam, so it was only audio only from me - may be a good idea to cut down on bandwidth requirements over mobile internet anyway! As for having one computer for each person attending virtually - you need to look at Group Call – can lin...

Re: QL Show 13th / 14th April 2013
I have used Skype today to speak with some people at the show - will be joining the AGM later via Skype to have my vote and say. I spoke to them again about the dedicated section of the QL Forum for Quanta members to make it easier to access the library and probably the magazine online for members -...

Microdeal Flight Simulator Manuals
I have uploaded the Microdeal Flight Simulator Keyboard Reference Guide to my website: http://www.rwapsoftware.co.uk/DOC/Microdeal_Flight_Simulator_Keyboard_Ref.gif However, I only have a very poor quality one where a lot of the information is either too faded or worn off - does anyone have a better...

QL Show 13th / 14th April 2013
Can someone please upload some directions and information about the show this coming weekend - or is everyone supposed to guess where it is?

Re: Microdrive cartridge preservation
You can (carefully) replace the felt pads on the microdrive cartridges - you can remove the old felt pad and replace it with a new one - either take one from a normal cassette and cut it in half (and then use superglue), or look at: http://www.8-track-shack.com/cassette-tape-replacement-felt-pressur...

Re: Quanta subscription
A Quanta section on the forum would be the easiest way forward - if some areas could be read only for non-Quanta members, and some areas only accessible for Quanta members, then the library disks could be uploaded to the second area, along with other things which Quanta has rights to for its member...

I have a stock of JM or JS ROM QLs here and can guarantee to sort out a working one if anyone needs one
Boxed ones are extra (of course!)
