Re: Issue 8 and WiFi

The card would run the TCP stack for you. You access it like a Hayes modem, tell it what IP you want to connect to, etc. It supports encryption for you too, and it would be programmable in its own right to extend its functionality. It has a dozen or so GPIO pins, dual core CPU and a good chunk of R...

I am interested. Any idea of eventual cost?

A serial port version would come in around £40. An internal version would be technically cleaner and be around £60?

Wild guess.

I've been clearing up the damage and making things habitable again - luckily it was the garage portion of the roof that got whacked. So, I am one week behind now. Meanwhile, is ther...

Simon?

How about you tell us your story. How did you get into the QL? What do you use it for? What's your life been like?

Most of us got these things in the mid-80s and have had pretty adventurous lives.

Re: More MIA software titles

It wasn't grey wolf. It was either "Sub Commander" or "Sub Commander 194X" where X was some WWII year. I got it at a show and never saw it advertised. I lost it in a move in the early 90s.

In order of preference, best to worst: JS, JM, AH. I only ever saw one MG QL.

Re: Dot Matrix Printout Required

I did some QL screens for a sci-fi movie short, and there's a possibility that might be expanded to a feature length or a miniseries. The premise is that a teen finds an abandoned 80s mini-shuttle that is AI powered and aware. It has a status screen that's run by a QL. Well, actually, by QPC on a bo...
