Re: 3D TEXT Demo

Happy Birthday! Alas, I get an error in expression at line 200, JS ROM, TK2, 640K. 200 tx=(rs*SIN(RAD(ng-180)))+cx: ty=(rs*COS(RAD(ng-180)))+cy: Fx=cx-tx: fy=cy-ty Not actually tried it on anything other than QPC2 (where it works quite well), a 5-second scan of the program implies the variable ng i...

Re: Website

Update KB4015549 (April cumulative update) screws up Windows on certain systems. Many users have reported problems with no helpful fixes to the problem so far.

Linux is not an option for me, so **** that bloody unhelpful comment, Derek.

Re: QPC2 stopping in Windows 10

No problem here. QPC2 is working even after switching on after suspend mode without any problems. The only problem with QPC2 is, that a lot of old programs (especially games) are not compatible with it, but this is also true with uQLx (at least with Minerva). Many of the problems with such games ar...

Re: MAKE_DIR command needed for uQLx

That's what I did ;-) But it is cumbersome. uQLx has unfortunately other quirks (at least under Windows with WSL). If you are in a program with keyboard input, the mousepointer doesn't come up, if you move the mouse. You must first switch with CTRL-C to a PE program or press a hotkey which starts a...

Re: Using ZX Microdrives on the QL

Congratulations, it's certainly unusual to hear of an unmodified ZX Microdrive working so well on a QL.

Re: Website

Seems to be working again now. I've had to make a slight change in that the Custom Search Engine results now appear in a DIV on the home page rather than a separate page as before, but if anything that's better than before. It seems that what happened was that I was using CSE v1 and Google have upgr...

Website

Some people are having problems accessing my website at the moment. I suspect the problem is due to the Google Custom Search Engine on the home page. When I get home I'll have a look at what's going on. In the meantime, if having problems, you can access the various areas directly: DOWNLOADS: http:/...
